The Hudson Farm was originally purchased in 1932 by JW Hudson, Sr and his wife, Myrtha Mae Davis Hudson. Located near the intersection of Tarboro Road and Cedar Way just 1/2 mile east of Youngsville. The homeplace sits on Cedar Way which was once named Old Sims Road and dates back to the late 1700's. The home served as a stage coach stop during the Civil War or as us Southerners call it "The War of Northern Aggression".
The farm is still owned by three of JW and Myrtha's children.

We currently breed and raise Boer Goats, layer chickens and sell the eggs at Barrett's Produce from April - October and Barbara's Cottage ( 301 East Main Street ) February - December.

Brown and White Eggs are available year round. Chicks will be available beginning in January 2015
